Mid Beach is mainly considered a residential area and doesn't have too much in terms of restaurants, shops and nightlife. North Miami Beach is a very distinct neighborhood in itself and also has a lot to offer. It is much less expensive than South Beach and is very international, which attracts great restaurants, shops and boutiques.
